cost-calc.js (FIXED)
Bandwidth / traffic / 95th-percentile billing calculator (zero-dependency Node.js): port ↔ monthly traffic conversion, P95 computation, and a three-way price comparison across flat port, 95th-percentile and peak billing, with a recommendation. Works as a CLI and as a module.

mtr-report.py
MTR report parser and evidence generator: feed it `mtr --report` output, get structured JSON plus a Markdown evidence file, with automatic flagging of "sustained loss at the final hop" and "suspected ICMP rate limiting on an intermediate hop" — a ticket-ready package in one step.

first-hour-init.sh
Idempotent first-hour initialization script: five stages — SSH hardening, firewall baseline, fail2ban, automatic security updates, baseline capture — running it ten times gives the same result as running it once. Debian/Ubuntu; usage and extension notes included.

Why datacenters are called HKG, SIN and NRT
A short piece on naming: how the IATA airport-code system got borrowed by hosting, the logic behind cloud vendors' Region/AZ naming, where the Tier classification comes from — and why our speed-test tool names nodes with airport codes.

A latency investigation, written as a log
One "the site got slow" investigation written as a timestamped log: from user report to MTR localization to a closed ticket. The data is a teaching example (labelled as such); the narrative structure drops straight onto your own incident reviews.

What is a server? A 1,000-word explainer (AI draft + human review)
An explainer for readers with zero background: a server is a computer that never gets switched off — the differences are reliability engineering, where it lives, and how it is managed. Drafted by a language model and reviewed paragraph by paragraph by a human; the review log is appended at the end.

cost-calc.js

mtr-report.py

first-hour-init.sh
Debian/Ubuntu 口径，附用法与扩展说明。
